Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By scheduling or receiving services from Mobile Detailing Indianapolis, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions.


2. Limitation of Liability

We strive to deliver high-quality mobile detailing services. However, due to the nature of the work and varying vehicle conditions, the following limitations apply:


2.1 Pre-Existing Conditions

  • Scratches, chips, dents, or rust
  • Loose trim, moldings, or components
  • Faulty seals, weather stripping, or convertible tops
  • Oxidized, damaged, or compromised paint

2.2 Interior Condition

  • Stains that cannot be removed due to material or severity
  • Malfunction of electronic components (e.g., seats, infotainment, warmers) during standard cleaning
  • Pre-existing odors, mold, or mildew that cannot be fully eliminated

2.3 Aftermarket Parts & Accessories

We are not responsible for damage to aftermarket emblems, decals, tint, or accessories unless caused by gross negligence.

2.4 Valuables & Personal Items

Please remove all personal belongings before service. We are not liable for lost or damaged items left inside the vehicle.

2.5 Reporting Concerns

Report any concerns within 24 hours of service completion.

2.6 Maximum Liability

In the rare event of proven service-related damage, our liability is limited to the total amount paid for that service. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.

2.7 Photographic Documentation

Before-and-after photos may be taken to document vehicle condition and address potential disputes.


3. Customer Responsibilities

  • Accurate Service Location: Provide correct address details, including necessary access details such as gate codes or unit numbers.
  • Adequate Space: Ensure enough space is available for safe service.
  • Vehicle Condition Disclosure: Disclose any special conditions beforehand.
  • Service Feasibility: The vehicle must be accessible,  located in a safe, legal area, and there are no restrictions (such as HOA rules, private property limitations, or parking enforcement) that would prevent the service from being completed

If the technician arrives and is unable to perform the service due to any of these issues, it may result in a cancellation fee or forfeit of deposit.



4. Condition & Upcharge Policy

 By booking a service with Mobile Detailing Indianapolisswq, the client acknowledges and agrees to the following:

  1. Service Pricing
    All base prices are for vehicles in average, serviceable condition. Additional fees will apply for extra labor, materials, or specialized processes beyond standard detailing.
  2. Automatic Additional Fees
    The following fees will be automatically added to the final invoice if present upon arrival, regardless of prior disclosure, and service will proceed without further approval:
  • Pet Hair Removal – $100 flat fee if pet hair is present on seats, carpets, or mats.
  • Trash / Personal Belongings Clean-Out
  • Moderate Clean-Out (5–15 minutes) – $20 fee.
  • Heavy Clean-Out (15+ minutes) – $60 fee.
    (Light trash, such as a few cups or wrappers, is removed at no charge.)
  • Biohazard Cleaning – $100 flat fee for vomit, urine, blood, mold, or other hazardous substances.
  1. Determination of Condition
    Determination of whether a condition exists is at the discretion of Mobile Detailing Indianapolis staff upon arrival.
  2. Photo Documentation
    Photographs of any condition requiring an additional fee will be taken for record-keeping purposes.
  3. Non-Disclosure at Booking
    Failure to disclose such conditions at the time of booking does not exempt the client from the applicable fee.
By confirming a booking, the client accepts these terms and authorizes Mobile Detailing Indianapolis to add applicable fees to the final bill and proceed with the service without additional verbal or written consent.



5. Inclement Weather Policy

Customer Responsibility:
Customers are responsible for checking the weather forecast before booking a service. Proceeding with detailing during inclement weather may impact the final results. Mobile Detailing Indianapolis is not liable for diminished outcomes caused by adverse weather conditions during or after service.

Weather-Related Rescheduling:
We understand the unpredictability of Indianapolis weather. If poor conditions are expected, customers may reschedule their appointment
without penalty, provided the change is communicated at least 3 hours before the scheduled service time.

Mobile Detailing Indianapolis reserves the right to make the final determination regarding weather-related safety or service feasibility.

Post-Service Weather Impact:
Once a service is completed, Mobile Detailing Indianapolis is not responsible for any damage, dirt, or reduced results caused by weather conditions such as rain, wind, dust, pollen, or extreme temperatures.

We do not offer next-day rain checks, refunds, or complimentary reservices due to post-service weather effects. Customers are encouraged to plan accordingly and reschedule in advance if poor weather is anticipated.


6. Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

Cancellations:
We currently do not have a formal cancellation policy. However, we encourage customers to reschedule their appointment if needed to avoid potential fees or missed service.

Rescheduling:
Appointments may be rescheduled
up to 24 hours in advance without any penalty or fee. Appointment reschedules made within 24 hours of the scheduled start time may be subject to a $50 rescheduling fee. To reschedule, please use our online booking system to select a new date and time.

No-Shows: 
If a customer is not present or reachable at the scheduled time and location, the appointment will be marked as a
no-show, and a $50 fee will apply. Our detailers allow a 15-minute courtesy window before leaving the premises and cancelling the service.

Weather-Related Rescheduling:

Rescheduling due to inclement weather is permitted without penalty, but must be communicated at least 3 hours in advance of your appointment time. We reserve the right to make final determinations regarding weather-related safety or feasibility.


7. Emergency Cancellations

We reserve the right to cancel services due to emergencies or unforeseen issues. Affected customers will be promptly contacted to reschedule.


8. Photo & Video Usage

By receiving our services, you consent to the use of photos/videos of your vehicle for marketing and promotional purposes (e.g., social media, ads).


9. Marketing Communication

Your contact details may be used for promotions and service updates. You may opt out anytime by emailing: mobiledetailingindianapolis@gmail.com


10. Environmental Disclaimer

We are not liable for any runoff from our products. Please inform us of any sensitive landscaping or environmental concerns before service.


11. Health & Allergy Disclaimer

Notify us in advance of any allergies or sensitivities to products. We are not responsible for health reactions caused by our materials if we were not informed beforehand.


13. Non-Disparagement

Customers agree to address concerns directly with us before posting negative or public complaints. We value resolution through respectful communication.


14. Deposits and Rescheduling

Deposits are non‑refundable but will always be applied toward the total cost of your service. We’re happy to accommodate reschedules when possible, though we reserve the right to limit the number of times a booking can be moved. If a reschedule request is denied, the deposit will be retained. While we strive to arrive at the scheduled time, a delay of up to 30 minutes may occur due to traffic, weather, or extended service times. If we are delayed within this window, service will still be completed as scheduled. If the vehicle is unavailable upon arrival for any reason, the deposit is forfeited.

If we are delayed more than 30 minutes, we will reschedule your appointment for another day if needed; however, the deposit remains nonrefundable. Reschedules due to our delay will be limited to one occurrence; if we cannot complete your service after that, your deposit will be refunded.


15. Privacy Policy

Mobile Detailing Indianapolis is committed to protecting your privacy. Personal information collected from customers - including names, contact information, and service history - is used primarily for service-related communications, appointment scheduling, and customer support.

By agreeing to these Terms & Conditions, you consent to receive marketing messages, promotional offers, and service updates  from Mobile Detailing Indianapolis via email, text message, or phone call. These communications are intended to enhance your experience and keep you informed about our latest services and specials.
